Anirudh Ravichander on Devara: Jr NTR’s mass presence will make it memorable

The highly anticipated action film Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, is generating considerable excitement as its release date of September 27 approaches. The film’s music composer Anirudh Ravichander recently shared his impressions of the Jr NTR-led film, describing it as “something special” and emphasising the indelible impact that “Tarak Anna’s mass presence” will undoubtedly have on the film.
Directed by Koratala Siva, “Devara: Part 1 will definitely be a super hit in Tamil too”, said Anirudh. He added, “This is only my fourth Telugu film in 12–13 years, but the love I’ve received from Telugu audiences has been immense. After working on the entire film and completing the background score, I know this movie is something special.”
Anirudh emphasised the fresh elements the movie brings to the table, saying, “This is a hardcore action film, but it’s also set in a new world with a different geography. Tarak Anna’s mass presence in that world, combined with Siva Sir’s brilliant writing, will make it something memorable.”
Having finished the background score, Anirudh expressed his excitement about the final product, assuring that Devara: Part 1 will not just be a hit in Andhra, Telangana and India but a global sensation.
Devara: Part 1, also featuring Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Srikanth and Abhimanyu Singh, among others, is slated to hit the screens on September 27.
