North Bergen and Guttenberg are pulling out of the 25-year-old shared-services fire department agreement among North Hudson communities ― and it has nothing to do with fighting fires.
It has everything to do with fighting mayors, namely North Bergen’s Nick Sacco and Union City’s Brian Stack.
